Rare, museum quality fine mineral display specimen of tetrahedrite, fluorite, calcite, chalcopyrite, galena and quartz from the Huanzala Mine in the Bolognesi Province of Ancash, Peru. A sculptural, top grade, fully natural piece featuring a matrix of deep silver metallic galena and quartz topped with diamond rhombohedral shaped silver tetrahedrite crystals. The largest focal tetrahedrite is huge for the species and impossible to find in this size! Rosette clusters of white calcite crystals and gemmy clear fluorite accent throughout. Golden chalco pyrite and iridescent galena are sprinkled throughout, making the exquisite gem sparkle like diamonds from every angle! The fluorite and calcite are also UV fluorescent - glowing electric blue and neon pink. The quality and form on this mixed mineral make it a highly collectible and aesthetic, cabinet sized 360 display specimen. Measures approx 8 by 6.5 by 5.5 cm and weighs over half a pound at 8.4 ounces.
