This extraordinary vintage Chinese Ginger Jar is in mint condition with a scratch on the bottom. There are no scratches, cracks or markings on the body of the vase. This is a unique vase as that both sides have different art scenes.
The vase is pre-owned in a smokeless home.
This gorgeous vase features the Famille Rose pattern with 2 separate art scenes on each side of the vase. One side has a cherry blossom tree with mountains in the background. The second side has a lake scene with a tree, birds, 2 buoys and a canoe.
The jars measure 6 inches tall with the lid on and an estimated 6.5 inches wide at widest girth.
This Chinese Ginger Jar dates from 1980s and has the signature is Zhong Guo Jingdezhen "MADE IN CHINA= numeral=" marks on the bottom base of the vessel.
Vintage does not mean new and is not always perfect. There will be wear and tear from its previous life.
