SEE PHOTOS THIS NEEDS POLISHING/CLEANING. As this is vintage and painstakingly hand painted I am afraid to clean using anything harsh but I believe someone taped this shut for many years and it left behind a tape reside. Im fairly confident something like googone would get it off but I don't want to damage it and I am not an expert on ceramics.
